Biography

I am a green criminologist and conservation scientist. My research focuses on wildlife crime and legalised (but harmful) wildlife exploitation.
My PhD research at Northumbria University centred on the trade and exploitation of marine wildlife and responses from CITES - see more here.

I have also recently conducted a global scoping study into the wildlife offences and penalties outlined in legislation. You can take a look at my other projects here.
